The World Congress on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering (https://wc2025.org/) is a scientific and social event co-sponsored by IUPESM, IFMBE and IOMP held every three years. This year it was held in Adelaide, Australia from 29th September to 4th October, catching the pleasant weather of early Spring in the southern hemisphere.
The Congress hosted over 1,200 delegates from 75 countries so it is considered one of the largest gatherings of innovation, collaboration and discovery in contemporary and future health care. With more than 800 speakers it provided over 240 hours of presentations followed by intense exchange of opinions and ideas. IUPESM, IFMBE and IOMP presented themselves also by exhibiting information on their activities, events and publications in a booth which was the focal point for meetings and socializing of many attendees of the Congress.

Among others, the World Congress 2028 to be held in Monterrey, Mexico, was extensively promoted during the Congress at the organizers booth and the large support team of the Monterrey Congress presented their ideas for organizing the event and social life.
