We are delighted to share some exciting news for the MEDICON 2026 community: Prof. Sridevi V. Sarma has been confirmed as a keynote speaker for the upcoming conference.

Prof. Sarma is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and Associate Director of the Institute for Computational Medicine. Her research sits at the intersection of computational neuroscience, control theory, and clinical applications, with a strong focus on neurological disorders such as epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and chronic pain.

She is widely recognised for developing data-driven and computational tools to better understand brain function and improve treatment outcomes. Her work includes innovative approaches to identifying epileptogenic zones in the brain and advancing neurotechnologies that translate directly into clinical practice.

Prof. Sarma has received numerous prestigious honours, including the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers, and has contributed extensively to the field through publications, patents, and invited talks worldwide.
