Deadline extended: Call for nominations for IFMBE Awards 2022
Due to the challenging situations, caused by the pandemic, we have received many calls and messages asking for the extension of the deadline for nominations for the IFMBE Awards in order that the international societies can prepare detailed nominations. We strongly believe that the extension will facilitate receiving nominations for the IFMBE awards. The closing deadline will be Sunday, January 16th, 2022. We sincerely appreciate the understanding, cooperation and continued contributions by our international societies.
The International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE) is seeking nominations for the IFMBE Awards Programme 2022.
IFMBE entities, affiliated member societies, or a group of at least five distinguished IFMBE members are invited to nominate outstanding individuals who contributed to biomedical engineering for the IFMBE Awards Programme 2022 in the following categories (one award):
- Vladimir K. Zworykin Award
- Otto Schmitt Award
- John A. Hopps Distinguished Service Award
- Laura Bassi Award
- IUPESM Awards of Merit – BME
Closing Date for Nominations: 15th December, 2021
