The International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE) is pleased to announce the results of its recent elections for admitting new affiliated societies to the existing 77 affiliated organizations. Following a rigorous election process, we are delighted to welcome two new National Societies to IFMBE’s global network: the Croatian Association for Orthopedic Engineering (Orthoing), https://orthoing.com and the Peruvian Association of Clinical Engineers (ASPIC), https://aspicperu.org.
These new societies bring a wealth of expertise in various fields of medical and biological engineering, strengthening IFMBE’s ability to represent the vibrant and diverse nature of our community. We are confident that these collaborations will foster international exchange of knowledge, stimulate innovation in the field, and ultimately contribute to advancements in healthcare globally.
The meeting of the IFMBE Administrative Council will be held during the upcoming EMBEC 2024 conference which is taking place in Portorož (Slovenia) from 9 to 13 June, 2024.
