IFMBE is seeking nominations from the constituent national and transnational societies for the open position for the terms specified in the attached IFMBE Nomination FormEach constituent National and Transnational Society of IFMBE may nominate a suitable candidate keenly interested in applying for any open position in IFMBEThe open positions are listed in the attached IFMBE Nomination FormTo be eligible for a constituent Society to nominate candidates for the open positions, the society must be in good standing with the payment of the annual membership dues to IFMBE. It is expected that the society contacts each nominated candidate to confirm the candidate’s willingness to serve in the position of IFMBE and asks the candidate to submit a signed document including a photograph, a brief biography (not to exceed 200 words), and a position statement (not to exceed 200 words) describing the background enabling suitability for the position and proposing potential actions and contributions to IFMBE if elected. The nomination document must conform to the format of the IFMBE Nomination Form. After ensuring the candidate and the nominating society have met the specified criteria, the candidates information will go through an internal review and approval process.  Then the list of approved candidates will be forwarded with supporting documents for onward transmission to the constituent societies for electionThe IFMBE 2025 elections will be conducted at the IFMBE General Assembly held during IUPESM World Congress 2025 in Adelaide, Australia, and the results will be announced at the General Assembly and communicated to the constituent societies, and posted on the IFMBE website.  IFMBE strives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion with respect to candidates and regions.  The reference document stating the responsibilities for each open position is included in the IFMBE Bylaws posted on the IFMBE website – https://ifmbe.org/about-ifmbe/bylaws/.
