Committee on Women in Science, Engineering, and Medicine (CWSEM)(US) is a standing committee of the National Research Council (NRC). Its mandate is to coordinate, monitor, and advocate action to increase the participation of women in science, engineering, and medicine.

Society of Women Engineers (SWE)(US) is a not-for-profit educational and service organization in the United States that stimulates women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers.

Women in Science Research Network (WISRNet) (US) is a cross-disciplinary network of academics, archivists and practising scientists who have come together to examine the participation of women in learned scientific societies, from the early 19th century to current times.

European Platform of Women Scientists is an international non-profit organisation that represents the needs, concerns, interests, and aspirations of more than 12.000 women scientists in Europe and beyond.



Equality Challenge Units Athena SWAN Charter(UK) has been developed to encourage and recognise commitment to combating the under-representation and advancing the careers of women in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM) research and academia.
