The International Federation of Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE) played a central role at the 6th International Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics (ICBHI 2024), recently held at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) in Tainan, Taiwan.

ICBHI 2024 served as a platform to catalyze the development methodology of personal health systems, facilitating the convergence and integration of critical scientific areas essential for Digital Health. It provided an opportunity for professionals, researchers, and young talents from 30 different countries who wish to expand their horizons in the rapidly evolving fields of biomedical and health informatics.

Apart from multiple sessions adressing different topics related to Digital health, ICBHI 2024 provided many activities and competitions regarding the involvement of young people in biomedical engineering, including IFMBE Scientific Challenge, IFMBE Young Investigator Competition, IFMBE Student Competition and IFMBE Students and Recent Graduates working group session.
